Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about Skyline Freight — from getting started to payments, tracking, and enterprise support.
What is Skyline Freight?
Skyline Freight is an enterprise logistics platform that connects shippers, carriers, and fleet operators. You can book freight, assign drivers, track shipments in real time, and process secure payments — all from one dashboard.
Who can use Skyline Freight?
Skyline serves shippers who need to move cargo, carriers and fleet operators who want to fill capacity, and enterprises that manage complex supply chains across multiple regions and partners.
How do I get started?
Create a free account, complete your company profile, and choose your role as a shipper or carrier. Our onboarding wizard walks you through posting your first load or accepting your first shipment within minutes.
How does live tracking work?
Drivers use the Skyline mobile app to share GPS location during active trips. Shippers and operations teams see real-time updates, ETA predictions, and geofenced alerts for pickups, delays, and deliveries.
How are payments handled?
Skyline processes marketplace fees (slot unlock, light booking, contact unlock, wallet top-ups) through configured payment rails. Shipper↔transporter freight payment terms are informational between parties — Skyline does not currently escrow that freight money. Delivery completion and POD advance the trip operational state.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Skyline encrypts data in transit and at rest, enforces role-based access controls, and maintains activity logs for compliance. Enterprise customers can request additional security documentation.
Do you offer API integrations?
Professional and Enterprise plans include API access for connecting Skyline to your ERP, TMS, or custom systems. Our documentation and developer support help you integrate quickly.
What support options are available?
All customers receive email support. Professional plans include priority response times. Enterprise customers get a dedicated success manager, SLA-backed uptime, and optional on-site onboarding.
