Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Skyline Freight platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind your organization to these Terms. The Service is intended for businesses engaged in freight logistics, shipping, or carrier operations.
2. Account registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and notify us promptly of any unauthorized access.
3. Use of the Service
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable transport, customs, and trade regulations. You may not:
- Misrepresent shipment details, carrier credentials, or payment information
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security measures
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code from the platform
- Use the Service to transport prohibited or illegal goods
4. Shipments and payments
Skyline facilitates connections between shippers and carriers and may process payments through third-party providers. We are not a carrier, broker of record, or insurer. Shipment terms, liability, and insurance remain between the contracting parties unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Fees
Subscription and per-shipment fees are described on our pricing page. We may change fees with reasonable notice. Continued use after fee changes constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, design, and content, is owned by Skyline Freight and its licensors. You retain ownership of data you submit but grant us a license to use it to operate and improve the Service.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skyline Freight shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate access with notice. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, subject to any surviving obligations.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dar es Salaam.
